Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection PS5

PlayStation Showcase: Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection Coming to PS5 and PC Next Year

Sony had already revealed Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End would be making its way to PC. What they didn’t mention was that it wouldn’t be on its own. During the PlayStation Showcase, Sony announced Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for PC that will include both Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy when it arrives in 2022. Before that, though, the collection will also be remastered for PlayStation 5.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is set several years after fortune hunter Nathan Drake’s last adventure. He thought he’d retired from the treasure hunting business but is dragged back in by his brother. Together with longtime partner, Victor Sullivan, they set out to settle a score in Madagascar as they search for Captain Avery’s long-lost treasure. Meanwhile, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy features recurring character Chloe Frazer in the protagonist role. She persuades mercenary Nadine Ross to head to India’s Western Ghats to help her recover the Golden Tusk of Ganesh and save it from a ruthless warmonger. Of course, none of this ever goes smoothly:

The Legacy of Thieves Collection will be the third Playstation Studios title to be ported to PC after Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone. Head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst had already said “there’s an appetite from gamers outside the PlayStation ecosystem to experience the amazing portfolio of games that PlayStation fans have enjoyed for years” but they would always be bringing their titles to PlayStation platforms first. The company later revealed they were planning “a future where large elements of our community extend beyond the console” and off-console IP launches will be part of this.

Naughty Dog will reveal more about the collection as its release grows nearer. Both games will be remastered for PlayStation 5 first, arriving in early 2022. Iron Galaxy is the developer in charge of remastering the collection for PC, and it will arrive shortly after the PS5 version.
