An acclaimed PlayStation Vita game from 2015 has been shadow-dropped for the PS5. The title was originally released in 2014 by INSIDE SYSTEM for the Nintendo 3DS before making its way to the PS Vita the following year.
The side-scrolling game The Legend of Dark Witch has arrived for PlayStation 5 and is currently available on the PlayStation Store. Upon its debut more than a decade ago, it earned mostly positive reactions. Currently, the game holds a solid User Score of 6.7 on Metacritic.
In The Legend of Dark Witch, players experience fast-paced combat, challenging stages, and powerful new abilities to master. The official description for the game reads, “Syega Crystals once brought great power to the people of the world—but one day, they were all stolen. With the crystals gone, the world is plunged into darkness.”

The Legend of Dark Witch centers on the main character, Zizou, the Dark Witch. As the character, players embark on a journey to recover the missing Syega Crystals.
During the main quest, they face powerful bosses and learn new attacks, and then use those abilities to clear the next obstacles in their way. The objective is to master all the powers and eventually save the world from darkness.
The Legend of Dark Witch for PS5 contains various features. It includes a fast-paced 2D platform action experience, with the option to learn new attacks throughout gameplay. There are improved visuals that bring a beautiful, magical world to life with colorful pixel-art graphics.
Players also get a variety of stages, each having a different challenge. If they replay the game after completing the first walkthrough, they can unlock additional bonuses. The Legend of Dark Witch offers three difficulty modes to choose from.
