Castlevania fans looking forward to the next game from Konami and Evil Empire just got a major update on the upcoming title. Announced earlier this year, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will be the next mainline entry in the historic franchise. This week, Konami announced the English voice cast for the game, along with a new trailer.
The cast includes several fan favorites reprising their roles from prior entries, including Graham McTavish and Liam O’Brien. The new trailer arrives a couple of months ahead of the game’s release and days ahead of Gamescom 2026.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse trailer showcases returning favorites & new threats
The upcoming action-adventure will follow Rose Belmont, the daughter of Castlevania III protagonist Trevor Belmont. The trailer shows off the game’s Gothic environments and fast-paced action. It also includes glimpses of the voice cast working in the sound booth, breathing life into the characters. The footage also includes a look at several boss fights, including ones with Medusa, Isaac, Joan of Arc, Carmilla, and Death.

McTavish is reprising the role of Dracula from Netflix’s animated Castlevania series, which was critically acclaimed and ran for four seasons. Its sequel series, Castlevania: Nocturne, centered on another descendant of the Belmont family, Richter Belmont.
The upcoming game will be set in 1499, almost two decades after the events of Castlevania III. The game follows Rose Belmont battling monsters in Paris and in Dracula’s castle.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse releases on PC, PS5, XBOX Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on October 15, 2026.
