MAG Gets ‘Massive’ Price Drop

May 12, 2010 Written by Anthony Severino

MAG, the multiplayer-only, 256-player all out war between 3 factions known as Raven, SVER, and Valor might just be one of the most ambitious titles ever released on the PlayStation 3. Developed by Zipper, the studio behind the SOCOM franchise, MAG takes the first person shooter genre to new heights in terms of teamwork, action, and chaos. Since its release earlier this year, the game has garnered quite a following, and even though it’s been out now for some time, it’s never too late to enlist for the 256-player frag-fest. In fact, if you have yet to pick up MAG, now would be the time, as the game’s price has been hit by enemy fire.

According to GameStop, MAG is now available for the low price of $29.99. Whether this is a sign of the game joining other best-selling PlayStation 3 games in the console’s “Greatest Hits” line-up, or is just a way to get more soldiers to enlist isn’t yet clear. However, one thing is for sure… MAG is definitely worth the price of admission, and if you’ve yet to pick it up, now is the time.

Head on over to your local GameStop, or to GameStop.com and pick up MAG. That’s an order soldier!
