Square Enix has released the “Closed Theater” trailers in succession as promised. After a long wait, two of its most anticipated trailers have finally arrived and they aren’t of the shaky cell phone camera variety.
Two trailers have been released for the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII series including Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII.
In Final Fantasy Versus XIII, the main character Noctis is seen wandering around an extremely detailed world equipped with mountains, a lone gas station, and ending in a fight with a giant creature of some sort in a city. It’s clear that Noctis isn’t just a magic user, but is well versed in using the sword.
In Final Fantasy Agito XIII, some of the twelve characters such as Eight, Seven, and Ace, display their abilities on the battlefield as they wield crystal based powers. If you enjoyed how Noctis closed the distance on his opponents in the early Versus XIII trailer, pay close attention to ACE about halfway through and you might be surprised.
