If you’ve been hungry for more Far Cry 3 news ever since you saw its intriguing debut trailer at last year’s E3, we’ve good news for you, as Ubisoft has just released a brand new trailer for the game, having to release it a day earlier than planned after the video was leaked.

While the cinematic trailer doesn’t feature any gameplay footage, it’s got some ridiculously beautiful computer-generated content. As you’ll see in the clip above, the game’s cast – including Far Cry 3’s deranged antagonist – all get some screen time. If the game can manage to capture the mood of this trailer, then this will be one first-person shooter worth keeping a close eye on.
What is most exciting however, is the release date that closes out the video, which confirms that the game will grace retailers on September 7th.
