Activision announced earlier this month that COD Elite Premium subscribers would begin their “content season” for Modern Warfare 3 on February 28th. They’ve sent a friendly reminder that the maps will be available today, in addition to revealing that a new map is coming next month.
The two maps are called “Liberation” (a map set in New York City’s Central Park) and “Piazza” (a map set in an Italian seaside village getaway gone rogue).
Liberation and Piazza are the first of twenty pieces of brand new content that will be released for Modern Warfare 3 over nine months.
The next content drop is coming on March 29th with a map called “Overwatch,” a multiplayer map that puts players in a construction site on top of a New York City skyscraper.
