New downloadable content for MotorStorm RC has been announced, in the form of an expansion pack and two vehicles.
On the PS Blog, MotorStorm RC Game Director Paul Rustchynsky announced that DLC for the game, the Carnival Expansion, is coming tomorrow (April 3rd) for $3.99. The expansion pack is set in a carnival after-hours and includes:
- 6 racing circuits: The Side Show, Fun House, Aquaplane, Splash Down, Bite Size, and Beach Party
- 24 new Race, Pursuit, Hot Lap, and Drift events
- 72 medals
- 4 new Trophies (1 Bronze, 2 Silver, 1 Gold)
- 8 new vehicle models, each with four Carnival-style liveries and four color scheme choices per livery
Two new vehicles will also be available for download for the game separately: “Wulff Weenie” (which will be available for $0.25) and “Bumper” (which will be available for free).
Finally, the “Pay Once, Get Both” policy from the MotorStorm RC game applies to the Carnival Expansion Pack DLC as well: gamers who purchase the expansion pack for PS3 or Vita will automatically receive the pack for the other platform’s version for free.
