Sony has said that the commercial above is set to appear on our television screens “before Sunday’s big game,” referring to today’s Super Bowl XLIX. The company has said that now is the “perfect time” for The Order: 1886 to be at the “forefront.” A post on PlayStation blog states:
Fittingly, from one Big Game to the biggest of them all this Sunday, Sir Galahad and The Knights of The Order: 1886 will debut a new TV trailer in the build up to kick-off. As one of PlayStation 4’s biggest new exclusives in recent memory, it’s the perfect time for The Order: 1886 to be at the forefront.
In the same post, Sony has mentioned that the game has been in development for over three years, and that it “harnesses the power of PS4 to bring you a visceral, cinematic storytelling experience” unlike any other seen before on a gaming console.
We’re ready, Sony. Roll on February 20!
