Visceral Games General Manager Steve Papoutsis Leaves EA

With Battlefield Hardline shipping last month, Kotaku revealed that Visceral Games General Manager Steve Papoutsis has left EA. His replacement will be Scott Probst, son of former EA Executive Larry Probst.

In a statement, an EA rep said, “We are thankful for Steve’s many contributions to EA and wish him the best.”

Kotaku themselves add, “For what it’s worth, people have characterized the shake-up to us as a good thing for the studio.”

Speaking with Game Informer, EA added that Papoutsis’ departure isn’t related to Hardline and Visceral will continue supporting the game as planned.
