Resident Evil 4 for PS4 & Xbox One Will Run at 1080p With an Increased Frame-Rate

Just like Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 4 will run at 1080p with an increased frame-rate on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The news comes from the North American PlayStation Store pre-order page, where Resident Evil 4 is up for $19.99 USD and includes two 20th Anniversary avatars featuring Leon and the Umbrella logo as bonuses. The European PlayStation Store also reveals that Resident Evil 4 will be an 8.4GB download.

Resident Evil 4 arrives on PlayStation 4 in full 1080p HD with an increased frame rate. This revolutionary masterpiece represented a turning point for the series as it brought the gameplay to a third-person over-the-shoulder perspective for the first time. Resident Evil 4 will be released on August 30, with the digital PS4 version unlocking at 12am ET.

A retail version of Resident Evil 4 is also expected in North America, but Capcom has yet to announce an official release date.
