Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix Will Run at 4K/60fps on PS4 Pro

When it releases on March 28 in North America and March 31 in Europe, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix will include support for 4K/60 frames-per-second gameplay on PlayStation 4 Pro, Square Enix announced today.

It was also revealed that there will be Limited Edition, available exclusively through Square Enix’s Online Store. Priced at $49.99 USD (just like the regular edition), the Limited Edition includes a collectible pin featuring Sora.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix

  • Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD Remastered cinematics)

According to the below video from Digital Foundry, the most recent release, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, includes 4K support on PS4 Pro for the remastered version of Dream Drop Distance. Frame-rate, meanwhile, is 30fps on both PS4 and PS4 Pro during cutscenes, and 60fps on both systems during gameplay.

In Aqua’s episode, A Fragmentary Passage, Digital Foundry says you’ll find 1080p resolution on both PS4 and PS4 Pro, while frame-rate is 30fps on PS4 and 40-60fps on PS4 Pro.
