Answering a bunch of fan questions on Twitter, Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man is now up for pre-order at retail stores for those who want to grab the physical version. If you want to pre-order via the PlayStation Store, however, you’ll have to wait until the game’s closer to launch.
Additionally, the developer shared an image of all the E3 awards that it won this year and encouraged fans to pre-order Spider-Man if they’re planning to buy the game as it “helps Sony and retailers” keep a track of the demand.

In separate tweets, Insomniac reiterated that the game will remain a “permanent” PlayStation 4-exclusive. “It is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and exclusive to PS4 and PS4 Pro,” explained the developer.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is set for release in 2018 but we’re not yet told what time of the year to expect it. We’ll continue to update our readers as and when we receive more info.
