Castlevania‘s animated series debuted on Netflix just yesterday and the company has already announced a second season with eight episodes. Wow! Unlimited Media’s Frederator Studios will return to produce the upcoming season but we’re not sure at the moment if Warren Ellis will be writing again. Ellis also served as executive producer alongside Adi Shankar, who is currently working on an animated series based on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise.

A vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself. Inspired by the classic video games.
Netflix is also working on a drama series based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher saga, however, it appears that the video game studio CD Projekt RED has no involvement in it.
