We’ve already witnessed multiple videos showing off the action in Split/Second, such as the destructive game modes and how the cars and tracks were designed. Now, developer Black Rock Studios has released some new footage showcasing this fast-speed racer’s chopper modes which players will encounter in the title.
One mode in Split/Second is titled, “Air Strike.” Players gather points by dodging the countless missiles delivered at a ferocious rate from a helicopter. The other chopper mode is named: “Air Revenge.” Instead of getting points for dodging missiles, you fill up an on-screen bar and then once full, target the helicopters and reflect the missiles back at them. It’s all pretty neat, and you can see it for yourself in the video below:
Split/Second is currently scheduled for a release on May 21st, 2010. A demo is now available in the PlayStation Store.
