Final Fantasy Agito XIII Type-0 is slowly nearing its October release date in Japan. So far, details have only been trickling out over the course of the year since the game’s official naming. But there hasn’t really been any mention of the game in playable sample form before its release, until now.
A recently-spotted posting on Andriasang which analyzed a new issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed that Square Enix does intend to release a demo for the upcoming RPG onto the PlayStation Store before the game’s release. This will be the same demo as was shown at a recent event in on the artificial island of Odaiba (yes, you read that right), and will have the title of Natsubi. No doubt that this demo will be in Japanese, since the game does not currently have any hint of a localized version coming to the West any time soon. Famitsu also released a video, almost eight minutes in length, of off-screen gameplay footage which you can take a look at below.
Final Fantasy Type-0 is currently scheduled for release in Japan on October 13th, 2011.
