Japan’s Top Sellers: PSP Claims 45%

No stranger to the top, especially in 2011, the PSP locks up yet another high-seller in Japan; this week, it was a J-League soccer game. Sony’s handheld goes on to stick nine games in the top 20, helping to make up for only one PS3 game showing up. Nintendo’s 3DS continues its bipolar life by having a decent July, but having not a single 3DS game in the 20 best selling games in the first week of August.

Here are the country’s top sellers for August 1st through 7th:

01. [PSP] J-League Pro Soccer Club 7: Euro +

02. [DS] Kirby Mass Attack

03. [PSP] Toriko: Gourmet Survival

04. [WII] Rhythm Heaven

05. [DS] All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation

06. [WII] Epic Mickey

07. [WII] Family Fishing

08. [WII] Wii Sports Resort with Remote Plus

09. [PSP] Taiko Drum Master Portable DX

10. [DS] Devil Survivor 2

11. [PSP] StormLover Karen

12. [PS3] Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2011

13. [PSP] Queen’s Gate: Spiral Chaos

14. [PSP] Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2011

15. [WII] Inazuma Eleven Strikers

16. [PSP] Elminage III

17. [PSP] 30 Second Hero

18. [PSP] Sengoku Basara: Chronicle Heroes

19. [WII] Wii Play: Motion

20. [DS] Puyo Puyo! 20th Anniversary

Kirby’s Mass Attack is not to be confused with Kirby Versus Massive Attack, a game that exists only in my head but is totally awesome.
