Us and the Game Industry, an upcoming film about several independent game developers like thatgamecompany is nearing the end of its Kickstarter campaign.
The feature length documentary follows renowned indie developers like Jason Rohrer and Douglas Wilson, as well as Journey developers thatgamecompany, and aims to show what motivates the developers to create such high risk unique titles, as well as giving a glimpse at different stages of building phases in games.
The Kickstarter campaign aims to raise $20,000 to assist in the completion of the project, which started in March 2009. With only 58 hours to go, the campaign currently has amassed $7,850, but you can contribute to the fund here.
