Kendrick Lamar, hip-hop star and celebrity promotional figure for Ghost Recon Future Soldier, has released a new song inspired by the game.
Ubisoft has released the song today in conjunction with the Top Dawg Entertainment / Aftermath / Interscope artist, which also features production from Sounwave. Ubisoft had announced that the song release would be happening today when Lamar was revealed as the final member of Team Ghost.
Lamar issued the following comment about the song:
When I recorded ‘War Is My Love,’ I did my best to put myself in the shoes of the Ghosts from the video game and capture that feeling of being willing to wage war and do whatever it takes to claim victory. And when I started really getting into the game, I thought it actually matched perfectly.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier releases tomorrow, May 22nd, for PS3 & Xbox 360. The PC version will release on June 12th.
