EA Details Battlefield 3’s Aftermath Expansion

Those still plugging away at Battlefield 3‘s multiplayer in anticipation of the new expansions slated for release later this year will be pleased to know that EA has just released a bunch of information on December’s Aftermath DLC.

The news comes from the official Battlefield website, which describes the content as being “set amongst the shattered districts, streets and surrounding villages of a post-earthquake Tehran.” The expansion serve up a load of new content, including:

  • Urban warfare on four new maps
  • Fight through the dust and rubble, use the earthquake damaged terrain to your tactical advantage
  • New heavily modified military and civilian vehicles – ingenuity and firepower combined
  • New game mode
  • New assignments, achievements and dog tags

In addition to Aftermath, DICE has two other expansions planned. Armored Kill is slated for a September release, with End Game serving as the final piece of DLC during the month of March next year.
