The incredibly odd, but somewhat intriguing Tokyo Jungle will be receiving a patch that adds remote play functionality, allowing players to roam the city streets as a beagle on the go. Honestly, what could be more fun than that?
According to SCE’s President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida, the update to allow Vita play is currently in the works for the West. “We are preparing for PS Vita Remote Play patch for Tokyo Jungle NA and EU versions, please wait a bit for the release timing info,” he said on Twitter.
While it may be incredibly rough around the edges and sport the visuals of a bad PS2 game, the premise of Tokyo Jungle is so off-the-wall and interesting that it’s something at least taking a look at. Umm then again, maybe not. For more information on this off-beat title, be sure to read our review.
Stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for more on the future of PS Vita Remote Play, as we sincerely hope it doesn’t begin and end with Tokyo Jungle.
