Here’s all the Winners from the 2012 Canadian Video Game Awards

Over the weekend, the Canadian Video Game Awards were held in Vancouver, with Elias Toufexis (Deus Ex: Human Revolution) taking over hosting duties from David Hayter (Snaaaaaaaake).

It was a far cry from an evenly distributed awards show as Far Cry 3, and a couple other ‘3’s’, took home the majority of the honours:

  • Game of the Year – Far Cry 3
  • Future Shop Fans’ Choice Award – Far Cry 3
  • Best Animation – Far Cry 3
  • Best Game Design – Far Cry 3
  • Best Visual Arts – Far Cry 3
  • Best New Character – Vaas (Far Cry 3)
  • Best Writing – Mass Effect 3
  • Best Console Game – Mass Effect 3
  • Best Original Music – Leaving Earth (Mass Effect 3)
  • Best Audio – Assassin’s Creed III
  • Best Technology – Assassin’s Creed III
  • Best Game Innovation – Sound Shapes
  • Best Game on the Go – Sound Shapes
  • Best Indie Game – Mark of the Ninja
  • Best Downloadable Game – Mark of the Ninja
  • Best Social/Casual Game – The Secret World
