  • At the PlayStation UK event yesterday, Fergal Gara revealed that PlayStation Plus subscriptions have tripled since the launch of PS4 in the UK. This follows news earlier in the month where PlayStation Plus subscriptions worldwide had gone up 90% since PS4 launch. [Source]
  • Ken Kutaragi, PlayStation’s Father, will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 14th Annual Game Developer’s Choice Awards on March 19th. Mark Cerny will be presenting the award. [Source]
  • Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Creative Director Dean Evans is working on his dream project right now and he’s in the process of building his dream team. “It’s the one all of us have always wanted to make and it seems like they’re gonna let us do it,” he said, later adding that there’s still a chance it could “go out the window.” We’ll let you know if this project ever sees the light of day.   • Giving final final confirmation about The Wolf Among Us Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors’ release date, Telltale Games has confirmed it will be out on North American PS3s February 4th, with Europe getting it on February 5th. [Twitter]
  • Rambo: The Video Game, which hasn’t been very well received from its trailers, will be released on February 21st in Europe for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. A North American release date announcement is forthcoming, with it still planned for Q1 2014. [Press Release]

  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2 might not be releasing on the PS Vita (at least not right away), but Stephane Gravel of Beenox said, “You will be able to play the PS4 version of the game on your PS Vita using Remote Play, with optimized controls.” Woo! [Source]

  • Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is coming to the PS3 and PS4 (and Xbox 360/PC) later this year in Q2 2014. To get an idea of what the game looks like, how the “deduction board” (aka Sherlock’s brain) works, and how a case will play out, watch this video.
