Battlefield: Hardline Release Date Revealed in “Into the Jungle” Official Trailer

EA has officially released the first trailer for Battlefield: Hardline. This comes after the shooter’s internal pitch was leaked, as well as our first look into what the game’s multiplayer might play like. Titled “Into the Jungle,” the trailer gives us a glimpse of the game’s single-player component, which focuses on cops and robbers this time instead of military warfare.

While the footage shown is intriguing enough, the big news is the Battlefield: Hardline release date that’s revealed at the video’s end, which lists it hitting retail this coming October 21 — once again pitting close to this year’s Call of Duty.

According to EA, in BF: Hardline, “Visceral Games brings its critically-acclaimed storytelling swagger to an all new cops and criminal fantasy inspired by some of the most popular TV crime dramas.” If you’re set on watching multiplayer footage, you might want to wait for EA’s E3 press conference on June 9, 12 p.m. PDT for the official reveal.

In related news, we reported just this week that people attending Sony’s “PlayStation E3 Experience” is said to be getting BF: Hardline beta access for the PlayStation 4.

Are you liking what you’ve seen so far or do you want the franchise to maintain its military focus?
