If you’ve seen the latest gameplay videos for The Order: 1886, it’s hard to argue how gorgeous the game is looking so far. Well, according to Ready at Dawn co-founder Ru Weerasuriya, that’s exactly why the game was made.
Speaking to GameSpot, Weerasuriya states that the studio is developing the game with the intent of making it a graphical showcase for the PlayStation 4.
This was the onus at the very beginning, was to showcase what the PlayStation 4 could do through this game; visually, graphically, technologically…This was really the drive behind creating this.
As long as the game plays as well as it looks, I honestly have no qualms if Ready at Dawn is shooting for the moon when it comes to visuals.
What’s your take on Weerasuriya’s statement? And would you rather they build The Order with gameplay in mind instead of graphics? Let us know what you think in the comments.
