The downloadable combat game The Legend of Korra will be getting released on PlayStation and PC platforms on October 21, and on Xbox platforms on October 22, confirmed Platinum Games today.
Robert Conkey of Activision explained the release dates in an interview with IGN, and went on to show some gameplay featuring a new pro-bending mode. The new mode is essentially three-on-three combat done in a small arena, where players must try to capture territory in the arena to win the game.
The Legend of Korra is an extension of the hit Nickelodeon show Avatar: The Last Airbender. Taking place after the events in Avatar, the show follows Korra in her quest to be able to “bend,” or manipulate, the four basic elements: air, water, fire, and earth.
Will you be picking up The Legend of Korra this October or getting one of the bigger titles first?
