Vampyr is an Upcoming Action RPG From Dontnod

At the Focus Home Interactive What’s Next event, Vampyr, a new action RPG from developer Dontnod (Remember Me, Life is Strange), was revealed.

Details are scarce at the moment, but The Sixth Axis and Gamewatcher are reporting from the event, stating that the game is set just after the first World War. Playing as a doctor who returns home to Europe while the Spanish Flu is running rampant, he gets bitten and transforms into a vampire.

Set in one large city with open-world exploration, you’ll face moral choices throughout the game based on whether you save a life or take one.

Featuring a tag line of “Take Blood. Save a life.” Vampyr is reportedly scheduled for release in 2017, while platforms are TBA.

With Life is Strange currently the focus for Dontnod, Vampyr is being handled by a second team within the studio.
