Star Wars Battlefront Gets a Piece of Concept Art, Maps & Modes Will Offer a “Great Variety” in Terms of Scale

Just a couple days after EA said they’d be putting a “very large focus” on Star Wars Battlefront when it launches this holiday, a new piece of concept art for the title was revealed through IGN, featuring a glimpse of Endor and more.

In a brief talk with IGN about Battlefront, Design Director Niklas Fegraeus said that “the scale of our maps and modes offer a great variety” depending on the location, with Hoth differing in size to Endor, for example. Furthermore, DICE has “actually made the decision to specifically tailor certain maps to certain game modes,” which Fegraeus says will allow players to live out some of the most memorable Star Wars battle fantasies.

While Fegraeus admits that the hardest part about bringing back Battlefront is managing expectations, he believes they will “deliver a Star Wars experience that excites fans around the world and gives them the chance to play out battles in some of the most iconic locales in the series history.”

We’ll learn more about Star Wars Battlefront from DICE at some point this Spring.
