Video Shows Mortal Kombat X Fightpad and How It Works

Fighting game purists might scoff at gamers using controllers instead of arcade sticks for fighting games, but like it or not, there are people who prefer brawlers with control pads. If you’re looking to do fatalities and whatnot using a controller in Mortal Kombat X, then you’re in luck.

Showcased in the video above is the official Mortal Kombat X Fightpad. It doesn’t have any analog sticks, and the face buttons give you the full six-button layout, which is perfect for fighting games. Unfortunately, it’s wired, but each (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) controller has dual-platform compatibility; meaning you can use the PS4 controller for your PS3, and so on. Should Capcom make the same for Street Fighter V for the PS4? Or should we just stick to arcade sticks for fighting games?
