For those still rocking Battlefield 4 as their preferred first-person shooter of choice, EA has revealed the Battlefield 4 February “deployment brief,” which is another way of saying event rollout schedule.
Expect dog tags, free Gold Battlepacks, double XP events and more.

Jump into any Battlefield 4 multiplayer mode and map and score 5 Kills with the SMAW to get the Aquarius Dog Tag. This mission is active between February 9, 2016 9AM PT and February 15, 2016 9AM PT*.February 12
Free* Gold Battlepack
We love you, too. Log in to claim a free* Gold Battlepack on February 12 starting at 9AM PT.February 12 – February 15
Double XP
Spend the weekend with the ones you really love and get Double XP. From February 12 at 9AM PT until February 15 at 9AM PT, all matches played on Ranked and Official servers will earn you Double XP.February 23 – February 27
Community Mission: M40A5
Jump into any Battlefield 4 multiplayer mode and map and score 5 Kills with the M40A5 to get a Gold Battlepack. This mission is active between February 23, 2016 9AM PT and February 27, 2016 9AM PT*.
I have to say, this is certainly a welcome change of pace for EA and DICE. Usually, a game gets left behind with events and stuff after a year out from release. It seems this isn’t the case with Battlefield 4. I might possibly drop the other shooters I’m playing just to pad my more than 450+ hours of playtime and partake in the festivities.
