Street Fighter V Multiplayer “May Experience Intermittent Disconnects,” Producer Apologizes for Server Issues

When Street Fighter V launched earlier today on PlayStation 4 and PC, it experienced some servers issues, prompting Capcom to say, “We are aware of the server issues that are affecting the online functionality of SFV, and are working towards a quick resolution.”

They identified the issue shortly after and, as of 3am PT/6am ET, “Our servers are up, but some may experience intermittent disconnects. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Taking to his Twitter account, Producer Yoshinori Ono apologized and said the Street Fighter V servers are something they need to improve upon:

As for the free Cinematic Story Expansion coming in June 2016, Ono said, “It might take you one to two hours or even longer to play through.” He added that development on the mode is nearing completion.
