Rumor has it that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is being funded by Nintendo and has been secured by the company as an NX console exclusive. According to Destructoid, this report has been brought to light by two separate sources, one of whom has been behind successful leaks such as Microsoft’s IllumiRoom project.
Apparently, the game’s working title is Beyond Good & Evil: The Prejudices of Philosophers – a reference to some text in Friedrich Nietzsche’s Beyond Good and Evil. Destructoid also points out that Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto was specifically mentioned in Tim Schafer and Michel Ancel’s recent Devs Play for Beyond Good and Evil which, considering the rumors, makes a bit of sense.
