Following our post on how some people employed by DICE (the studio behind Battlefield) publicly trashed Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer, it seems the people behind the tweets have had a change of heart, as not only have most of the tweets been deleted, but some have even apologized.

However, some did mention how we (PSLS) resorted to controversial headlines (clickbait?) in order to generate interest in the story, and y’know, not because we reported on something that was true.
While I’m fine with developers being brutally honest about other games, let’s just hope that this Friday’s Battlefield reveal is as impressive as the people of DICE thinks it will be. Otherwise, don’t be surprised if other devs and fans jump on them based on their earlier tweets.
