Capcom Sends Out a Tease for the Resident Evil 7 Dummy Finger

In an email sent out to Resident Evil ambassadors, Capcom revealed that the Resident Evil 7 PlayStation 4 demo has been downloaded over two million times, meaning roughly 10% of all PlayStation Plus subscribers have grabbed it already.

If you’ve played the demo, you may have seen the dummy finger item, which is taken from a mannequin. However, after some investigation by players, it seems as though the finger is useless.

Capcom addressed the finger in their email, saying in the image, “The path for now is closed, but patience…”

Since the calendar looks to show September 2016, and the finger points to September 15, people have guessed that more information is coming at Tokyo Game Show, which runs from September 15 to 18.

“There’s a lot more to come on Resident Evil 7, so we”ll be back in touch soon,” Capcom adds.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard releases on January 24, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

What do you think Capcom is teasing for the dummy finger?
