The latest issue of V-Jump has revealed that Piccolo and Krillin will be joining the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster, which already includes Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu, and the recently announced Trunks.
During battle, Piccolo can extend his arms to grab his opponent, use a variety of methods to break the opponent’s guard, fire beams at high speed, hold down the button to charge up for a stronger attack, and use a technique that fires a Ki blast for big damage. Krillin, meanwhile, can use a variety of techniques such as Kamehameha, the Afterimage Technique to confuse enemies, and Destructo Disc (which can’t be guarded), but he has low power and reach.

V-Jump also detailed that you’ll be able to control chibi characters in the online mode (similar to the Guilty Gear Xrd games), and they’ll be able to battle against each other.
If you want to try Dragon Ball FighterZ before launch in early 2018, registration for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One closed beta will begin on July 26. The beta will include nine fighters.
