Gran Turismo 7 Future Updates Include New Courses and Cars

Gran Turismo 7 is only just about to race onto PS5 and PS4 consoles around the world, but Polyphony Digital has already given players a glimpse of what they can expect from future updates and potentially DLC. While they were short on specifics, the list of upcoming content included new courses and new cars.

What will be included in Gran Turismo 7 content updates?

Gran Turismo 7 DLC Updates

Gran Turismo 7 future content updates will include new courses, cars, and engine parts. There will be additions to some of the game’s existing modes, such as new World Circuits events, more Mission races, more Music Rally songs, new Lobby features, and new Time Trials for the Sport mode. Finally, the developer will be looking to make “improvements to the penalty algorithm and overall quality of online races.” These were the only hints given in the preview from Polyphony Digital about their “ever-evolving” game but more details will likely be revealed as the updates near release.

In the meantime, there will be an Anti Social Social Club in-game collaboration available as soon as the game launches on March 4. The streetwear brand has created a custom vehicle skin for the GT500-spec Toyota Supra. The catch is players will only be able to access the livery through a PlayStation Network redeemable code once players make a collaborative Gran Turismo item purchase from AntiSocialSocialClub.com. These collaborative items include a custom Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel and a capsule collection that includes a hoodie, T-shirt, snapback hat, gaming socks, and racing gloves. The collection will be offered for sale at 8 AM PT on March 4 and is expected to sell out quickly. Alternatively, some codes will be given away on the game’s social media channels.

Finally, PlayStation also revealed the game’s opening movie. Clocking in at over seven minutes long, the movie aims to depict “the history of the relationship between cars, people, and society over the last 150 years.” This begins with Carl Benz’s first ever idea for a car and ends with the latest electric vehicle, the Porsche Taycan.

In other news, the delayed Battlefield 2042 scoreboard update will finally be arriving next week. The update will also include “a small range of additional fixes.” Elsewhere, more rumors have begun to appear that an Infamous game and a Sly Raccoon game are both in development.
