Resident Evil 4 Mercenaries Mode

Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries Mode Update Release Date Revealed

The Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries mode update release date has finally been revealed. Players won’t have to wait long until they’re pitting their wits against hordes of enemies in the hope of escape but it still leaves plenty of time to finish the game’s campaign.

When is the Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries mode release date?

The Mercenaries mode free DLC update will be released on April 7 according to the game’s launch trailer. It’s unknown whether players will still need to complete the campaign for the first time regardless of difficulty to be able to play the mode, as was required in the original PS2/Gamecube version.

Mercenaries mode is an arcade-style mode where players earn points for every enemy killed before they’re evacuated by helicopter after a set amount of time, although time extensions can give players more time. While boss enemies are worth more points than normal enemies, players rack up the highest scores by stringing together kill combos.

Players aren’t required to complete Mercenaries mode to earn all of the game’s trophies, but they will need to complete the campaign multiple times on each difficulty. If you’re still wondering whether this game is for you, check out a recent teaser trailer below:
