THQ Dates Some Games, Delays Others

September 16, 2010 Written by Corey Schwanz

THQ has come out swinging today with some release information on their products. Unfortunately, they’ve got both good news, and bad news.

The most noticeable of the dates that was announced today was actually the changing of Red Faction: Armageddon from March to May of 2011. While no specific reasons were given, the Spring being crowded with titles such as Killzone 3, Dragon Age II, Bulletstorm, and Portal 2 probably didn’t help the cause to continue with the March release. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine was also pushed back to the summer of 2011, coincidentally releasing after Gears of War 3.

Now that the bad news is out of the way, why not try something better? Off-road racer MX vs. ATV has not only been announced but is currently slated for the Spring of 2011. The crazy open world of Saints Row 3 has been given a release window of Fall 2011 along with the next iteration of the WWE franchise. The more realistic fighting franchise UFC has even been put off in the far future of Winter 2012. What are you most excited for out of all their announcements? Let us know in the comments below.
