Light Things Up with New Dark Souls Trailer

With Namco Bandai’s Level Up press conference in Dubai just wrapping up, the publisher has released a new trailer for Dark Souls, the upcoming sequel to From Software’s hard as nails 2009 RPG hit Demon’s Souls. In the trailer we get a good look at knights and creatures, campfires, armored bosses, and much, much more.

Demon’s Souls caught everyone’s attention with its unforgiving difficulty but fun and addicting gameplay. Dark Souls looks to upgrade on the original with a new co-op system, weapons, spells, and classes. It is also said to be even more difficult than the first so if you are faint of heart, you better stay away. In fact, just watching the trailer left me clutching my Dualshock controller and prepping it to be thrown in frustration.

Dark Souls will be releasing later this year in Japan exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and both the PS3 and 360 in North America.
