Konami Breaks Silence On Silent Hill Collection

June 2, 2011 Written by Anthony Severino

There’s a Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. There’s a Zone of the Enders HD Collection. And now, there’s a Silent Hill Collection. Konami is going HD collection crazy!

Konami is working up another collection to one of their more successful franchises, Silent Hill. The Silent Hill Collection will feature Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, remastered in HD.

No systems have been announced at this time, but we’re sure it’s going to be on the PlayStation 3 at least. Both Silent Hill titles in the collection were on the PlayStation 2, but only a re-release of Silent Hill 2, entitled Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams was released on the original Xbox.

That’s not all the Silent Hill Konami had in store for their pre-E3 press conference. A NGP Silent Hill was also announced.

We’re bound to get more information on the Silent Hill Collection at E3 and we’ll be sure to update you when we do.
