It looks like the FIFA franchise isn’t going away any time soon, as it remains in the top spot as the number one most sold game in the UK for the fifth week in-a-row. Following closely behind is a handful of heavy-hitters, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Just Dance 3 and Modern Warfare 3.

It sure is refreshing to see titles that aren’t first-person shooters in the top three, as well as seeing the criminally under-appreciated Rayman Origins make it onto the charts after a new advertising push.
It is also worth revisiting the continued success of FIFA 12 and the franchise’s selling power. With a portable version heading to the PS Vita, this may just be the killer-app for Sony’s UK audience.
