First In-Game The Last of Us Screens Released

When Naughty Dog released the incredible reveal trailer for The Last of Us last year, everyone was blown away by how gorgeous the in-engine rendered video was. But how does the game stack up in-game? GameInformer have released the first 3 in-game screens of the game, which you can view below.

The screens are three of the twenty in GI’s March issue:

The screen with yellow bridge has been confirmed to be set in Pittsburgh, but the game itself is set “across what remains of the United States“.

What do you think of the screens? The bloodspattered car does look a bit less impressive than the rest of the images, and the graffiti has been reused in the street picture, but overall they do look good. It’s also important to note that the game is set to release either in late 2012 or early 2013, so graphics are sure to improve.
