Battlefield 3 Armored Kill Expansion Dated, Coming This Fall

Electronic Arts is full of announcements this week. After confirming both Dead Space 3 and a new Need for Speed, the publisher has announced that the Armored Kill expansion for DICE’s hit first-person shooter, Battlefield 3 will be available for purchase this September.

Armored Kill will be the second-to-last expansion for the game, as Close Quarters is set to launch later this month while the final chapter, End Game is arriving this winter. Don’t forget that it is also heavily rumored that EA is planning to announce a competitor to Activision’s Call of Duty Elite service. Dubbed Battlefield Premium, this alleged subscription-based service will allow members to gain early access to DLC alongside other bonuses, including all of the expansions free of charge.

You can expect to hear a whole lot more about the future of Battlefield 3 and the rest of EA’s lineup, when their press conference airs live on Monday.
