EA Confirms Criterion is Developing a New Need for Speed: Most Wanted

A new Need for Speed: Most Wanted title has been confirmed by Electronic Arts to be part of the publisher’s E3 lineup. Not only that, but the highly regarded development team Criterion Games is the studio behind this upcoming EA racer.

Besides announcing that the game will be making its official debut at their E3 presser, EA didn’t offer any additional details about the title. You can check out the first official screenshot for the game (above) at Most Wanted’s official Facebook page here.

There are a lot of exciting titles coming from Electronics Arts that will be shown next week. Just yesterday, a handful of Dead Space 3 screenshots managed to leak out onto the web, and later that day, EA finally confirmed the existence of the game and its presence at E3.

In addition to these two highly anticipated titles, EA will be showing the following games:
