Back in September, Sony released the super slim PlayStation 3 for $269.99. In addition to the new console and all accessories, it included the Uncharted 3: Game of the Year Edition and $30 of credit for Dust 514 to try to justify the higher price tag. It did seem a little weird for Sony to raise the price of the PS3 with this new bundle, but it looks like it may be changing soon.
A listing on PlayStation.com shows that the MSRP (manufacturer suggested retail price) for the PS3 Uncharted 3: Game of the Year Bundle as $249.00, $20.99 less than what retailers are currently selling.
Now, prices of items are always up to the retailers selling them (it is a suggested price after all), but if this is true, expect at least one store to reduce the price to the much more reasonable $249.99 soon.
