Anyone who bought MLB 14: The Show yesterday or today has probably noticed that in-game teams are missing the latest real-life roster updates, with many people upset over the fact that Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka is among the many players not yet available in the game.

Well, the development team is aware of these issues, and released this statement over on TheShowNation forums, letting you know that the roster fix is coming next week:

Hello, Show Nation.

The first Live Roster of the year will be available April 8, 2014. We understand this is a week later than years past. Please understand that if we could have offered the live roster on April 1st, without jeopardizing other critical responsibilities we would have.

Thank you for your patience and for playing The Show.
