If you think find your PlayStation 4 a little bit too vanilla, then you’ll be glad to know that Sony has announced — and launched — what it calls “Project SkyLight,” which is a codename for “personalization initiative.”

According to Sony, Project SkyLight is a new initiative that lets you personalize your PS4 with faceplates. For starters, two limited edition faceplates are currently available; one for The Order: 1886, and LittleBigPlanet 3, which you can see how it looks like in the image below.

Sony claims that more faceplates will be made available in the future, but no specific date, nor designs were mentioned.

You can buy the two faceplates in the links below for $24.99 each:

The Order: 1886 – featuring a shot of the Knights from the highly anticipated third-person action title
Little Big Planet 3 – featuring Sackboy and his new burlap gang

Now, if you’re worried how to put these on your PS4, the video above should help in that area.

Finally, Sony mentions that it’s planning “other enhancements” to Project SkyLight and will share that info soon.

Anyone planning to pick a PS4 faceplate up? What designs would you want to see come out first after these two?
