Tembo the Badass Elephant From Game Freak Gets a PS4 Release Date, PS+ Launch Discount

July 10, 2015 Written by Jason Dunning

Announced back in March, Tembo the Badass Elephant from developer Game Freak (Pokemon) and publisher Sega is releasing on July 21 in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at $14.99/£9.99/€12.99. To save you a little bit of money, a 10% discount will be offered to PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members, as well as those who pre-order on Steam.

A 2D side-scrolling action adventure title, Tembo the Badass Elephant includes 18 levels that are “packed with charm and cleverly designed platforming action all wrapped in a unique art style with a tongue-in-cheek humor that encapsulates classic console mascot games, with a nod towards 80’s action movies.”

John Clark, VP of Commercial Publishing for Sega Europe, added:

We’re very excited to be able to confirm the release date for Tembo the Badass Elephant. We don’t think there’s a single game out there with a better name and hope that consumers will stampede the digital marketplaces in order to get their hands on this mammoth adventure!

Featuring 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 13 Bronze, you can check out the Trophy list for Tembo the Badass Elephant over here.
