Rocket League Gets Halloween Items Next Week

Overwatch isn’t the only game that will be getting Halloween-themed accessories, as for the second year in a row Rocket League will be having a Halloween event. The event starts October 18 as a handful of new Halloween items will be added to the game’s random drops. These range from boost trails to antennas, so players will be able to deck out their cars in all kinds of spooky ways.

Here’s what kind of goodies you can expect from this year’s limited-time items, straight from Rocket League’s official website:

Our new Bone King Topper is perfect for those who need a little more fright in their life, while the Ghost is a spirit so lovable even the Ghostbusters wouldn’t want to trap it! For your Antenna this year, we have the Fuzzy Skull, which will give your opponents a scare as you go tearing through the pitch, and the Netherworld Rocket Boost will leave your opponents in the ghoulish dust!

That’s not all though, as the items from last year’s Halloween event will be coming back as well. Psyonix says this is the last time to get them though, as the 2015 items will be gone forever on November 1. So, if you want to complete your set, you’ll have to play a lot of Rocket League in the next two weeks! I can certainly think of worse things to do, though.

Are you excited about Rocket League Halloween events becoming a yearly staple? Will you be trying to get all of the different accessories? Let us know in the comments below!
