Sony Is Shutting Down the Servers for Kill Strain & ModNation Racers: Road Trip

In an update to the official PlayStation website, Sony has revealed that the servers for Kill Strain, ModNation Racers: Road Trip, High Velocity Bowling, Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s QuestSports Champions, and Sports Champions 2 will be going offline on Saturday, July 1, 2017.

A free-to-play title for PlayStation 4, Kill Strain from Sony San Diego released in July 2016 to poor reviews. The Kill Strain Twitter account hasn’t tweeted since October 2016, and the PlayStation Store listing now says, “This game will no longer be playable on 7/01/17.”

Other Sony PlayStation games with deactivated servers include MLB 14 The Show (PS4), Smart As (PS Vita), Fat Princess: Piece of Cake (PS Vita), MotorStorm Pacific Rift (PS3), Resistance 1-3 (PS3), and Gran Turismo 5 (PS3).
